Dr. Adam Zagorecki to Participate in Healthcare Security Hackathon as Special Guest

Dr. Zagorecki will participate as a special guest at the "Security by Design in Healthcare" hackathon, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 24th and 25th 2024.

Dr. Adam Zagorecki, a respected senior research fellow at the Center for Simulation and Analytics, brings a wealth of knowledge in data science to his role. His notable achievements include successes in data mining competitions and contributions to scholarly publications. Dr. Zagorecki's expertise extends beyond just data analysis; he is skilled in optimisation techniques, risk analysis, intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, and decision analysis, focusing on the ways people make decisions within organisations and individually.


His research interests cover a wide range of topics, including defence and security, cyber security, crisis management, and healthcare. These areas highlight his commitment to tackling significant challenges in the modern, technology-driven environment.


Dr. Zagorecki will participate as a special guest at the "Security by Design in Healthcare" hackathon, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 24th and 25th 2024. This event is organised by the Verlab Institute's its4Health in collaboration with the Cyber Security Excellence Center (CSEC), emphasising the critical role of secure and innovative healthcare systems.
